The Calmato Trainer 40 has been especially designed with optimum stability in mind to meet the special demands of a first time pilot.

 

To get you in the air even quicker the Calmato is supplied virtually completed requiring a minimum of further assembly to complete. The design incorporates a simple main wing joint and tail plane installation. The left and right sections of main wing share dowel joints and simply bolt onto the fuselage while the vertical tail fin is factory-glued so simply bolt on the tailplane. All control rods included are pre bent, as has the pre-installed throttle linkage rod guide. Even the steerable nose gear mount is fitted so novice fliers want for nothing when it comes to a well prepared trainer.

 

The model is constructed from traditional balsa and ply construction and covered in layered monochrome film so colouring is already complete. Colours supplied vary.

 

The model requires the following items to complete (not included):

 

A minimum of a 4 channel radio with receiver and 4 standard servos

A 2 stroke 40-46 cu engine.

All building materials and necessary field equipment.
