The manufactuer has improved upon the time tested styles by creating their own designs which bring these kits into the modern age. Benefits of our kits over those that have been sold previously • Laser-cut lightweight wood, with precision parts • Smaller packing boxes (C4 large, letter box friendly) to make shipping cheaper • Environmentally friendly, the only plastic parts in our kits are the propeller and minimal packaging • Alternative parts and spares are included in the standard kit. Improving customer satisfaction by allowing them to repair damage or mistakes. • User-friendly instructions written by hobbyists. • Kits can be used for rubber flight, static display and have also been optimised for micro RC conversion. • All instructions included are also available online for download in case of loss or damage. These kits allow the builder a degree of autonomy with design options, while still allowing for an easy build with precision cut parts. The manufacture of these kits have created them so the feel will be familiar to older model makers, their plan is to make model-building easier and more accessible to first time airplane builders.
Fokker Dr1 “Red Baron” kit. This wood and tissue kit is a fantastic starter or intermediate kit to introduce to our range and aircraft. This rubber powered display model looks great as a skeleton or finished covered piece. Full parts list illustrated with numbers and order of assembly allows modelers to easily find parts as arranged on the wooden sheets. Parts are strong and spares are included. This kit is made to 1/16th scale and contains an A3 historical information poster detailing the Fokker’s history and specifications. This kit includes A4 full colour printed instructions with easy to follow pictures and diagrams. We know that instructions can be difficult and have made ours as easy to use and friendly as possible.
To make our kits more modern we include a link to video instructions, available to watch anywhere at any time. These show step by step construction of each kit and allow hobbyists to avoid staring at a page for ages and get down to building more enjoyably.
